Letter # 32: "Show Me A Miracle"

Today, I offer you one of my poems. I hope that you will like it.

SHOW ME A MIRACLE

I say show me a miracle
You say show me a miracle
Look into the mirror
What do you see?
That is the miracle
I say show me a miracle
You say show me a miracle
Look at the blind deaf mute
He sees with his nose
And he sees with his skin
That is the miracle
I say show me a miracle
You say show me a miracle
Looks at the dark blind soul
Through pain and tears
Perchance it meets the Teacher
And sees the Light
That is the miracle…

This is a most beautiful poem. You are my miracle. You have been able to bring me to this point in my life where I am ,most of the time, truly happy. Thank you for these words of wisdom. You truly are a great teacher for me. Thank you again for your daily nourishment."

A reader wrote: "This morning reading about genetics and ...(then)I happened to go out for a walk. As the concepts of genetics were still streaming through my mind and I stopped by and had a look at a maple leaf. The next questions that rocked my mind were 'Why cant we create them in lab, why cant we create a new creatures, new universe as we understand alot about DNA. Then I realized that I should keep science and reality on few issue separate as all the universe and creatures are not only piece of art but they also are in unique balance, what we call food chain and food web. Finding myself unable to answer any of my scientific questions I thought.' Science might be true, but if you dissociate yourself from everything and look at them as someone is looking from skies, I could tell that all these things are planned. This world is masterfully engineered". If this is my one sentence answer, then it re affirms my faith and believe in Allah (God).
I know my above mentioned point is very vague but I want to know more about meaning of life. Why everything is such designed and whenever any engineer designs things its for some purpose ! What is the purpose? Why we are here? Why we are here as humans? How come things are in such harmony? I am just not ready to admit that its because of evolution and an accident of gases.
I want to combine science with real meaning of life. Real meaning of life is beyond what 99 % people think and behave and honestly I am finding myself confused!
Sir I would like to request to please write some letter encompassing the meaning and objective of life as you understand. I know you have much deeper knowledge of religions and have very formed and mature opinions. I would like to read and share my ideas on this. I would be highly grateful if you could do that sometimes in future.
I'm reading your letter number 30 (acceptance) again.
I hope I did not bore you with my mail. I think I should start reading Quran and share some other ideas with you. Thank you."
